The 2024 Special Olympics Victoria State Games were amazing! Over two weekends in July and September, athletes, volunteers, and supporters came together to celebrate sport and inclusion. Hosted in the City of Casey, this year’s event was a big success!
Sports & Highlights
627 athletes competed in 11 sports.
New sports: Netball and Table Tennis.
Athletes from Tasmania and South Australia joined.
Over 1,000 medals won!
A special Torch Run kicked off the event.
Volunteers Made It Happen 83 volunteers and officials helped make the Games smooth and exciting. Their support created an inclusive and welcoming space for everyone.
More Than Sports The LETR Healthy Communities Hub gave free health checks and useful resources to athletes, making sure they got the support they needed.
